A day out from Ibiza
Most charters here are day charters, and most of them end up at Formentera, which is about thirty-five minutes away by boat. The other direction is the south coast: Cala Jondal, Es Cubells, Cala d'Hort with Es Vedrà standing out of the water in front of you. A slow day anchored in two or three calas and a run to Formentera and back are different days, and they do not burn the same fuel.
Spanish maritime rules cap a day charter at twelve passengers, whatever the builder's brochure says about the boat. A larger group goes out in two boats, which is easier to arrange than it sounds.
What is included, and what is not
A professional skipper and insurance are included in every charter on this page. Fuel is not included in any of them. It is settled at the end of the day, at cost, with nothing added on top: we make nothing on it.
What you burn depends on the route and the speed, so the honest thing is to give you a realistic figure for your day before you commit rather than after. Ask us and we will. Crew tips are not included either, and they are yours to decide.
Choosing the boat
The filters sort by the things that decide the day: the size of the group, whether you want to cover distance or sit still somewhere, and how much shade there is on board, which matters more in August than anyone expects.
Where a boat has no published rate for your dates it says so and stays in the results. Tell us the date and how many of you there are, and we will come back with the boats that are actually free that day and what the fuel is likely to run to.
