Questions about Motor yachts in Ibiza
What is the difference between a boat and a motor yacht?
Mostly space and shade. A boat under twelve metres is for getting to the calas; a motor yacht from twelve metres has a saloon, cabins with bathrooms and room for the group to spend the whole day on board.
What is included in the price?
The price on each boat includes the skipper and insurance. Fuel is never included: it is used on the day and charged at cost at the end, with no mark-up, and it depends on the route and the speed. We give you a realistic figure for your route before you book. Tips for the crew are not included either.
Where do the yachts leave from?
Most of the fleet is moored in the marinas of Ibiza Town, Marina Botafoch among them, and a few yachts leave from Santa Eulalia and Sant Antoni. Each yacht page says where it leaves from.
We are more than twelve. Can we all go out together?
Spanish rules allow up to twelve passengers on a day charter, however big the boat. A larger group goes out in two boats, and we arrange them to sail together and anchor in the same cala.
