The house is built around wellbeing, and a day here tends to follow its lead. A session in the gym or a steam in the hammam to start, then hours on the pool deck between sunloungers and daybeds, lunch at the outdoor table and perhaps an afternoon swim at Cala Jondal. The interiors follow a classic contemporary line, with polished finishes and a pared-back, minimalist feel. The living room and the modern kitchen open straight onto the poolside terrace through floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, so light pours in and inside and outside read as one space. A wine cooler and a Sonos music system complete the picture.

The bedrooms are spread across three levels, with the principal suite and two more bedrooms on the top floor and the others arranged between the entrance level and the lower floor. Each has a king-size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. The house is air-conditioned and wheelchair friendly.

What sets Villa Serenity apart is its indoor pool, paired with a private treatment area and a chill-out zone. Around it sit a hammam, a sauna and steam room, an indoor jacuzzi and a massage area, while the gym is fitted with Technogym equipment. The result is a house that is as rewarding in the softer weeks of spring and autumn as it is in high summer.

Outside, a decked terrace runs along the pool, with plenty of sunloungers and daybeds. The al fresco dining area and the outdoor barbecue kitchen make hosting easy from breakfast to a late dinner, and the lawn, the garden, table tennis and an outdoor music system keep everyone entertained. Secure off-street parking takes four cars within the gated grounds, and part of the electricity comes from solar power.
