A private path leads from Villa Bailey down the cliff to a secluded beach and the villa's own boat jetty, on the Es Cubells coast of south-west Ibiza. Above it, the house sits right on the front line, with uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean, along the coastline and back over the countryside.

It is a house built for staying in. You can spend the morning between the infinity pool and the sea, lunch on a terrace carved into the rock, watch a film in the outdoor cinema after dinner, and still find a quiet corner in the wellness area the following day. Everything is here, including the people who look after it.

The infinity pool and the cliffside terrace are the centrepiece of the exterior, framed by well-kept gardens, sunbeds and shaded seating. There are several al fresco dining areas, a dedicated pizza area with its own oven and a bar, and a rooftop pavilion with a swinging bench and extra lounge space for the evening. From the pool, the path runs down to the beach and the jetty, so a swim in the sea or a day on the water starts at the bottom of the garden. An outdoor music system and indoor and outdoor play areas for children complete the picture.

Cinema, games, squash and a hilltop gym

The villa is fully renovated and equipped for long stays with plenty to do on site: a home cinema and a separate outdoor cinema, an indoor games room with games tables, a squash court and a gym on the hilltop. A small pathway leads to the wellness area, with a hammam, a sauna and steam room and a massage area. There is also a meeting room and office for anyone who needs to work for an hour.

Interiors, two kitchens and a team at your service

The interiors are sophisticated and atmospheric, and every bedroom is en-suite. The family kitchen, with its centre island, sits alongside a separate professional kitchen built for private chefs and formal dinners. The house is looked after by a house manager, a private chef, housekeeping and serving staff, and car and boat usage can be arranged for the week. It is wheelchair friendly, with facilities for guests with reduced mobility, and sits within a gated community with fencing, CCTV, an alarm and a garage.
