Villa Niu Blau

Villa Niu Blau is a family house set between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar and a short walk from two beaches, Niu Blau and Cala Pada. It is the kind of address where the car can stay parked for most of the day, and where children walk to the sand with a bucket in hand.

Mornings start with a swim in the sea before breakfast, or with lengths of the long pool in a Mediterranean garden. Afternoons stretch out under the porches, and evenings belong to the roof terrace, where the view turns a full circle over the sea and the hills behind.

Sabina ceilings and bright living spaces

The main house has a generous open living and dining area under a traditional sabina wood ceiling, with tall French windows letting in the light. The Ibiza-style kitchen is fully fitted, and a utility room with washer and dryer keeps longer stays running smoothly. A fireplace and central heating make the house just as comfortable in the cooler months, and a dedicated office space is there for anyone who needs to check in with work.

En-suite bedrooms over two floors

Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. One sits on the ground floor, a practical choice for grandparents or anyone who prefers to skip the stairs; the rest are on the first floor, where the largest rooms open through French windows onto the front and rear terraces. Double beds are the norm, with a twin room for children or friends, and the bedrooms and main living room are all air-conditioned.

An 18-metre pool, garden and the roof terrace

The Mediterranean garden, some 1,600 square metres of it, wraps the house in green, with lawn, sunloungers and a barbecue, and at its centre an 18 by 5 metre pool built for proper swimming. It can be heated on request. Porches and terraces give shade, and there is private parking with a garage.

Above it all, the roof terrace is where the day ends: a very large, open deck with a 360-degree view across the sea and the hills around Santa Eulalia, with smart TVs and a music system waiting indoors for later.

Santa Eulalia, Es Canar and the coastal path

Santa Eulalia and Es Canar are each about 1.5 km away, linked to the house by coastal walks. Santa Eulalia has a town beach, a large marina, a long promenade and a good spread of shops, restaurants and bars, all within walking distance.

The house suits families, couples and groups of friends, and works well for retreats. Weddings and filming are possible.
