Villa Porroig Relax

Villa Porroig Relax sits on the headland of Porroig. The house looks straight out to open sea, with green hills rising behind it, and the upper level is planned so that the view follows you from the kitchen to the pool.

Here the light sets the rhythm of the day. Late breakfasts in the kitchen, the infinity pool through the afternoon, and then the climb to the roof terrace, where the bar is ready for the evening and the view is at its widest until the stars come out.

An upper level built around the view

The villa is set over two levels. Upstairs, a large living area opens into a modern kitchen and onto the pool terrace, so the whole floor works as one space, with the sea on one side and the hills on the other. A guest cloakroom sits on this level too. The house has been fully modernised with quality materials and a considered palette, and it feels fresh, light and easy to live in.

Bedrooms on the lower floor

Downstairs, the bedrooms are all doubles, each with an en-suite bathroom. Some wake up to the sea view; the others open onto private garden spaces, a lovely choice for anyone who likes to step outside barefoot first thing. The layout gives the house a natural split between the sociable upper floor and the calm of the sleeping level, which suits two couples sharing as well as a family.

Roof terrace bar, infinity pool and gym

The roof terrace is the signature of the house: its own bar, a chill-out area and the broadest outlook on the property, made for long evenings. Below, the infinity pool, which can be heated on request, is framed by sundecks and shaded areas, with a second outdoor bar, a lawn, a garden, a barbecue and terraces for dining out of the sun. A gym keeps the morning routine on track.

The grounds are gated and fenced, with an alarm and private parking.

Porroig and Es Cubells

Porroig lies close to the villages of Es Cubells and San José, in one of the most prized stretches of the island. Cala Jondal and its beach club are a short distance away. Ibiza Town and Marina Botafoch, home to some of the island's best-known restaurants and nightlife, are also within reach. A hire car is recommended.

The scale suits a family, two couples travelling together, or honeymooners who want plenty of space around them.
