Villa Talamanca Views

Close to Talamanca, Villa Talamanca Views is a newly built house that lives up to its name. From the terraces the eye travels across the turquoise sea to Dalt Vila and on to the neighbouring island of Formentera, a view that changes colour with every hour of the day.

Mornings start early here, because the house faces the sunrise over the water and it is worth being up for it with a first coffee. The hours in between belong to the pool, the hammocks and the shade of the terrace. At night, dinner moves outside and the lights of Ibiza Town come on across the water, which is when the house shows its full character.

Three floors, each with its own terrace

The house rises over three levels, and each one has a clear role. On the ground floor, the entrance leads straight into the lounge, with the fully equipped kitchen and a bar, all opening onto an outdoor terrace. The first floor holds a second living room with direct access to its own terrace, a welcome retreat when part of the group wants a more private corner.

The top floor is given over entirely to the principal suite, which has a large private terrace with an outdoor lounge and wide sea views. Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The architecture is clean and monochrome, brightened by colourful contemporary pieces, artworks and sculptures, with air conditioning, satellite TV and a music system in place.

Pool deck, outdoor bar and hammocks

Outside, the wooden deck around the pool sets the tone for long days in the sun, with sunloungers, hammocks and a lawn for stretching out. An outdoor lounge, a summer dining area, a gas barbecue and a bespoke bar make it easy to host, from a late breakfast to a dinner under the stars. The grounds are fenced, with an alarm and private parking.

Talamanca, Jesús and Ibiza Town close at hand

Ibiza Town is a short drive away, while the village of Jesús, with its many amenities, is close by. A hire car is recommended for exploring further.
