Can Octavia

In the green countryside of San Lorenzo, Can Octavia is a restored traditional finca spread across a main house, a side house, an annex and a pool house. Whitewashed walls, stonework and bohemian-chic furnishings give it a very personal character.

Summer at Can Octavia has something of a childhood holiday about it. Tennis first thing, before the heat builds; swims at midday; long lunches in the shade of the outdoor dining area. At night the countryside falls quiet and the sky fills with stars.

A finca of several houses

The main house holds the living room, dining room, a bar and the kitchen, along with several of the bedrooms. The light-filled living room gathers around an open fireplace, and the stylish, well-equipped kitchen is ready for big family meals. The side house has its own living room, dining room and kitchen, while the annex and the pool house each have a sitting room, a bedroom with its own bathroom and a separate entrance. Grandparents, couples or older children get their own space without ever leaving the estate.

The bedrooms follow the same style as the living spaces and are air-conditioned, and central heating keeps the whole finca comfortable in spring and autumn.

Tennis, football and flower-filled gardens

The grounds are Can Octavia's great strength. There is a private tennis court, a football pitch, a basketball hoop, a children's play area and a gym. Landscaped gardens full of fragrant plants and flowers surround a pool with several sun terraces and loungers. The shaded outdoor dining area takes you from breakfast to dinner under the stars, with a barbecue and music system close at hand. The property is fenced, with private parking.

San Lorenzo and the northern calas

The northern calas, including Benirràs, Cala Xarraca and Portinatx, are a short drive away, and the energy of Ibiza Town is an easy drive too. We recommend a hire car.

A house for families

The owners prefer to host families, and the finca is laid out with them in mind, though it also welcomes couples, honeymooners and retreats.
