Villa Casita

On its own private hillside at San Jordi, Villa Casita looks out across Cap Falcó and the salt flats of Ses Salines to Playa d'en Bossa and the sea towards Formentera. The house sits in gated, fenced grounds, with a large lawn, a swimming pool and several chill-out corners spread across the garden.

Mornings here start early and bright. The terraces face the sunrise, so the first coffee comes with the light spreading over the salt pans and the water. Afternoons belong to the pool and the lawn, and evenings to dinner outside as the lights of the town appear below.

A family house with room to spread out

Inside, the house is comfortable and unpretentious, with a fireplace and central heating that make it just as pleasant in spring and autumn as it is in July. The bedrooms have air conditioning, and two of them have their own en-suite bathroom, a practical arrangement for parents with children or for two couples sharing. The fully fitted kitchen makes it easy to cook at home.

Lawn, pool and chill-out areas

Most of the day happens outside. The lawn is big enough for games, the pool is surrounded by sun loungers, and there is a table tennis table for the more competitive members of the family. A barbecue and an outdoor dining area are close at hand, and a music system keeps the soundtrack going from lunch until late.

The chill-out areas are placed around the garden to follow the day, from the first sun to the shade of the afternoon. Private parking inside the gates, an alarm and a safe complete a house that is very easy to live in.

Views from Cap Falcó to Formentera

From the terraces the eye travels over Cap Falcó and the salt flats of Ses Salines, along Playa d'en Bossa and across the sea to Formentera. The view changes with the hours: silver at dawn, deep blue by midday, soft and pink over the salt pans in the evening.
