Inside, Can Simo mixes mid-century modern design with seventies-inspired touches. New pieces and authentic vintage furniture, carefully restored, give the rooms warmth without clutter. The kitchen is fully fitted, air conditioning runs through the house and there is a smart TV for quieter evenings. Bedrooms with their own character

The principal bedroom is on the first floor, with an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a private terrace facing the sea. Another first-floor bedroom has its own en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, plus a balcony looking inland over the hills. On the ground floor, a bright bedroom sits beside a full bathroom. The fourth bedroom, known as the Garden Pool Room, is reached from outside and opens straight onto the garden and pool, giving teenagers or a second couple a corner of their own.

The garden is where most of the day happens. The swimming pool is lined with sun loungers, the lawn is soft underfoot and the terraces offer sun or shade depending on the hour.
