Villa Equis

Villa Equis rises over three white storeys on the hill of Cap Martinet, looking across Talamanca to the old town of Dalt Vila and out to the open sea. Inside, the rooms are open and filled with light, and the design is deliberately pared back so that nothing competes with the view.

The panorama is simply part of daily life here. Breakfast looks out over the water and Dalt Vila, the infinity pool seems to continue the living room, and in the evening a lift ride takes you to the rooftop, where the Sky Bar is ready for sundowners as the light fades over the town.

Three floors of light and sea view

The open living and dining area is built around the sea panorama. Open the large windows and the infinity pool reads as an extension of the room, so the line between inside and out almost disappears. A fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, satellite TV and a music system complete the everyday comforts.

The bedrooms occupy the first two floors, each with an en-suite bathroom, a smart TV, LED colour lighting and a dressing area. Both master suites add freestanding bathtubs, open-plan bathrooms and access to a private sunset terrace, a setting honeymooners tend to love.

The rooftop: Sky Bar and 360-degree terrace

The top floor is the villa's signature. A lift rises to a 360-degree roof terrace with its own Sky Bar, giving views by day and by night over the sea, the old town and the hills of Cap Martinet. The same floor holds a quiet work area for anyone who needs to check in with the office, with the view as a backdrop.

After dinner the rooftop comes into its own again. Dalt Vila is lit up across the water, and the evening can carry on under the stars without anyone needing to leave the house.

Pool, terraces and outdoor dining

Around the infinity pool, sun loungers, terraces and chill-out areas give everyone a place in the sun or the shade, and an outdoor dining area keeps lunches and dinners close to the water. The property is fenced and private, with parking and an alarm linked to a security service.

Talamanca, Marina Botafoch and Ibiza Town
