Villa Allison

Breakfast at Villa Allison, on the hillside of Cap Martinet, comes with the whole landscape laid out in front of you: deep blue sea, the silhouette of Dalt Vila and, further out, the hills of Formentera. The house faces the sunrise, and from late May to early September a breakfast chef prepares the first meal of the day five days a week.

This is a reformed finca where rustic character meets clean, modern interiors, and it is made for sharing. Days drift between the saltwater pool and a choice of terraces, lunch is set out in the shade, and dinner runs late at a long table with the old town lit up across the water.

Terraces for every hour of the day

The outdoor spaces are the heart of the house. The ten-metre saltwater pool is lined with sunloungers and looks straight out to sea, with a barbecue and summer kitchen beside it to keep outdoor cooking simple. The shaded terrace holds a large al fresco dining table for group lunches, and an upper terrace, set among fragrant lavender, adds a second dining area and lounge seating with even wider views over the sea and the countryside. An outdoor music system and a wine cooler make hosting friends at home very easy.

Minimalist interiors, a cinema den and a small gym

Inside, the rooms are sleek and minimalist, with an open-plan layout that draws in natural light and connects the living areas with the terraces. Generous pale sofas are arranged to face the sea, and the dining area and kitchen, finished in pale wood and cool marble, make cooking for a group a pleasure. Downstairs, a second lounge opens directly onto the pool terrace, with a home cinema system for film nights and a small gym for a morning workout. Central heating keeps the house comfortable well beyond summer.

Bedrooms arranged for privacy

The bedrooms share the same calm aesthetic, with white walls, polished floors, king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. The master suite has a private sun terrace with loungers and sea views. The layout is a real asset for groups of friends: only one of the bedrooms opens from the main living areas, while the others have their own external entrances, so everyone comes and goes at their own pace.

Cap Martinet is a calm residential hillside. Ibiza Town, with its restaurants, shops and cultural life, is less than ten minutes away by car, and the golden sand of Talamanca beach is even closer. For families with young children, the villa has toys, cots and highchairs ready, and the property is fenced, with CCTV, an alarm and private parking.
