By day the open-plan rooms fill with light, crisp and clear in the morning and warm amber by early evening. At night the town feels much further away than it is: the soundtrack is cicadas and the occasional lap of water in the pool, with the lights of Ibiza Town glowing in the distance.

Inside, clean architectural lines meet deep-toned velvets and bright colour accents, a deliberate contrast that gives the house its personality. The living spaces flow openly into one another, with a fully fitted kitchen for anyone who enjoys cooking and air conditioning throughout.

The bedrooms are arranged over two floors, which keeps a real sense of privacy even when every room is in use. The master suite opens straight onto the terrace and pool through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, so the first swim of the day is a few steps from bed. Other double rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms.

Pool, terraces and evenings outside

The pool runs alongside the terraces, lined with sun loungers and open to the view. A barbecue and an outdoor dining area set the scene for long dinners, and a music system runs through the house for the moments that call for it. The grounds are fenced, with private parking, an alarm and a safe.

From the terraces the outlook moves between the open sea and the rooftops of Ibiza Town, and it changes with every hour. Mornings are bright and clear for breakfast outside; late afternoon brings a softer light that warms the white walls, and after dark the town lights up.

The house is also wheelchair friendly, a thoughtful point for families travelling with grandparents or with anyone who has reduced mobility.
