Villa Haisley

Villa Haisley stands in open countryside in the hills of San José, above Cala Tarida, with a view that runs across green ridges to Sa Talaia, the highest point in Ibiza. It is a modern house with a natural, contemporary interior, set in extensive gardens with direct access to the surrounding parkland.

Days here follow the light over the hills. A morning session on the yoga deck, a swim in the infinity pool, lunch on the terrace and an afternoon on a daybed with nothing but countryside around you. After dinner the telescope comes out and the night sky takes over.

Four-poster beds, carved wood and open spaces

The interior is filled with light and built around a spacious open-plan layout. Carved wood surfaces, exposed beams and solid wood doors give the rooms warmth, while four-poster beds and a neutral palette bring a sense of calm. A fully fitted kitchen, air conditioning, smart TVs, a music system and a fireplace for cooler evenings complete the house.

Most of the bedrooms are in the main house, each with its own en-suite bathroom. A separate guest house holds another en-suite bedroom with its own living room and terrace, a natural choice for grandparents, a couple who value their privacy or older teenagers.

Infinity pool, garden and outdoor dining

The infinity pool looks out over the hills, surrounded by a sun terrace, outdoor daybeds and loungers. An al fresco dining area with a barbecue sits close by, and the garden and lawn stretch towards the parkland, ideal for a walk early in the morning or at the end of the day.

The view is the constant. From the pool and the terraces the eye runs over wooded ridges to Sa Talaia, and the colours shift through the day, from the soft green of early morning to the gold of late afternoon, when the hills seem to glow.

Yoga, fitness and games for all ages

The yoga deck doubles as an outdoor fitness area, with weights and gym equipment. Table tennis, football goals and outdoor games keep children and adults entertained, and the telescope turns a clear night into an event of its own. CCTV, an alarm and private parking add to the privacy of the setting.

The beaches nearby

Some of the island's most beautiful beaches are a short drive away, including Cala Bassa with its beach club and Cala Conta, known for its sunsets. A hire car makes the most of the setting.
