Villa Margo

Villa Margo is a finca of some two hundred years' standing near Ses Salines, at the southern tip of Ibiza, where the land flattens towards the salt pans and open water. The original stone-built, thick-walled farmhouse has been restored as two connected houses on a large private estate, keeping its heritage beams and warm plaster while adding everything a group needs for a week of good company.

From the terraces, the view takes in the Mediterranean, the protected wetlands of Ses Salines and, on clear days, the low outline of Formentera on the horizon. Afternoons are for watching the light shift across the salt flats with a cold drink in hand; evenings carry on at the bar long after dinner is cleared.

Two connected houses with a past

Inside, the finca keeps the character of the original building: thick walls, old beams, warm plaster and furnishings chosen with restraint. Sunlit living rooms open onto shaded lounging areas outside, the kitchen is fully fitted, and there is air conditioning. Because the estate is arranged as two connected houses, a large group can gather easily around the same table and still find quiet corners of its own.

Made for long evenings

This is a house for a group that intends to enjoy itself. There is a bar, a games room with a snooker table, table tennis, and a club room where the night can carry on after dinner. Outside, the infinity pool looks out towards the sea, the outdoor kitchen makes long lunches simple, and a lawn invites lazy afternoons in the sun. There is a music system, with wifi, a smart TV and satellite TV for everything else.

Wellbeing on the estate

Early risers can train in the gym or stretch in the yoga area while the rest of the house sleeps, and the massage area is there for anyone who would rather be looked after. The estate is private and fenced, with an alarm, its own parking and a safe for valuables.

Salinas and Es Cavallet

The beaches of Ses Salines and Es Cavallet are a few minutes away by car. The four-night minimum stay works well for a shorter break. A hire car is recommended. Events, weddings and filming are possible, and the house welcomes retreat groups, families, friends and couples.
