Villa Marielle

Villa Marielle is a design-led private residence in the countryside between the village of San José and Cala Jondal, in Ibiza. Cala Jondal is home to some of the island's most sought-after beach destinations, while the house itself sits secluded among mature palms and pine trees, with views of the sea and the surrounding countryside.

This is a house that can fill a whole day without anyone leaving the gate: a padel match before breakfast, a long swim in the infinity pool, lunch in the shade, a film under the stars at the open-air cinema. Or none of it, and a book on a sunlounger instead.

Warm, contemporary interiors

Inside, contemporary design is softened by natural warmth. Polished wooden floors, carefully chosen furniture and plenty of natural light set a calm tone, and a fireplace makes the living spaces just as inviting on cooler evenings. Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom finished in quality materials. The principal suite is a retreat in itself, with a shower, a bathtub and a hammam, and direct access to a secluded jacuzzi and chill-out area. The house also has an indoor jacuzzi, air conditioning, satellite TV and a music system.

Pools, gardens and the outdoor bar

The infinity pool sits at the centre of the property, framed by landscaped gardens of mature palms and pines. Wide terraces hold several lounge areas, an al fresco dining space and a second shaded lounge with a beach-style feel. The outdoor kitchen and the fully equipped outdoor bar, with generous seating, become the natural focal point when friends come over, and an evening moves easily from dinner to drinks to a film outside.

Sport and wellbeing

For anyone who likes to stay active, there is a private padel court, a volleyball court, a pétanque pitch and a gym. For anyone who would rather not, there is a yoga area, a massage area and a lawn made for slow afternoons. Pets are welcome too.

Who the house suits

Villa Marielle works for families, couples, groups of friends and retreats, and it is open to events, weddings and filming. A hire car is recommended.
