Villa Larish

Villa Larish is a warm, easy-going house in San Rafael, at the heart of Ibiza. Its style borrows as much from Tulum as from the Mediterranean: natural textures, earthy tones, tropical planting and Bali-inspired corners, all looking out over open countryside.

This is a house that asks you to slow down. Mornings might begin with yoga or a quiet swim, followed by breakfast on whichever terrace has the best light at that hour. Afternoons drift between the pool and a Bali bed in the shade, and evenings gather everyone around a long table under the stars, with a game of billiards to round off the night.

Interiors with character

On the ground floor, a welcoming living room is arranged into cosy seating corners around a fireplace, with natural materials throughout. A long dining table is made for shared meals, and the fully equipped kitchen has an additional dining area of its own. Next door, a dedicated billiard room becomes the social hub once dinner is over. The top floor has a second lounge, also with a fireplace, opening directly onto a large terrace that overlooks the surrounding countryside.

The bedrooms

Each bedroom is individually decorated, with generous wardrobe space and air conditioning that both cools and heats, so the house stays comfortable well beyond the summer months. The principal bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom, three further bathrooms serve the remaining rooms, and the bedrooms on the top floor share that level with the upper lounge, which gives them a quiet, private feel of their own.

Terraces, pool and outdoor dining

Outside is where Villa Larish really comes into its own. Several terraces catch the sun at different times of day. The main one has a sturdy outdoor dining table, shaded lounge areas and a barbecue station for long summer dinners, while the chill-out area with its Bali bed is made for doing very little. The large swimming pool is lined with sunloungers and natural parasols, as good for the first swim of the morning as for a late look at the stars.

The centre of the island

San Rafael's central position puts the whole island within easy reach. Ibiza Town is about eight minutes by car and the airport around ten. West-coast calas such as Cala Gració, and the south-east coast around Talamanca, are each within about fifteen minutes, and Amnesia and UNVRS are close by for a night out. Private parking inside the property, plus parking on the street, makes arrivals simple for groups travelling in more than one car.
